Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)

The issue of GMOs has over the past years evolved to become a very complex set of tasks. Pyrrolizidine alkaloid containing plants and their pollen

1280px-Senecio_vulgaris_001

As part of the research project AiF 16223 BG (supported by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology (via AiF) and the FEI (Forschungskreis der Ernährungsindustrie e.V., Bonn) a range of pyrrolizidine alkaloid containing plants and their pollen were collected and photographs were prepared. Additional information on origin, habit and dispersal are provided. This data collection can be used by e.g. bee keepers and others to facilitate the identification of pyrrolizidine alkaloid containing plants and their pollen.
